Do I need to be fit before I join?
No, much like you don’t need to learn a language before you take a language class you don’t need to get fit to join Scenic Fit! Come enjoy the class and let the magic happen.

What if I can’t run more than 1/4 a mile, can I still come to run day?
Yes, most people who start with little or no running experience, if consistent, can safely work their way up to 3 miles by the end of the six week session. We love helping to create new runners!

Do I need to bring anything to class?
Just yourself. We’ll provide mats and any equipment that you’ll need. It’s a good idea to bring water to have in the car when you return from the workout though.

What happens when it rains?
We get free facials! Class is held rain or shine. We’ll generally seek shelter if the workout is not a roving one. On Monday’s run day we just run in the rain. It’s helpful to wear a baseball hat and a light water resistant coat. You’ll also want to avoid wearing cotton, which soaks up water.

Do I have to come to the same days each week?
No, you’re welcome to switch around days, but we ask that you stick to the same class hour.

What should I wear?
Athletic clothing made from comfortable wicking material. Cotton tends to soak up moisture and make you cold. A light water resistant coat, 1/2 finger workout gloves and a baseball hat are what most people wear.

Do you offer personal training?
We do not currently offer personal training services.
